Business Analyst – BIM / Digital Delivery

About the Role

Accenture is looking for a Business Analyst – BIM / Digital Delivery with 2–3 years of relevant experience to support BIM and digital delivery initiatives. You will work between project users, BIM stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business and BIM requirements into practical digital workflows and Common Data Environment (CDE) configurations.

This role provides an opportunity to build deeper expertise across business analysis, BIM coordination, information management, CDE implementation, and digital construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, clarify, and document business, functional, and user requirements with project teams, BIM stakeholders, and users.

• Review and interpret requirements contained in BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and translate them into practical workflows, system requirements, and CDE configurations.

• Support BIM coordination processes by understanding project workflows, information requirements, and common coordination challenges.

• Configure Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms based on agreed project and user requirements, including requirements established within the BEP.

• Align CDE configurations and workflows with applicable project requirements and industry frameworks, including ISO 19650 and BCA Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) use cases.

• Facilitate discussions with users and stakeholders to solicit requirements, clarify expectations, identify gaps, and translate user needs into practical system or process requirements.

• Support testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate configured workflows against agreed business and BIM requirements.

• Identify workflow and process gaps, recommend practical improvements, and support users during implementation and adoption of CDE solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, BIM, digital delivery, construction technology, information management, or a related field.

• Familiarity with BIM coordination processes, workflows, and common coordination challenges.

• Ability to interpret requirements from a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and translate them into practical workflows or system requirements.

• Strong communication and requirements-elicitation skills, with the ability to solicit, clarify, document, and discuss requirements with users and project stakeholders.

• Ability to configure CDE platforms based on agreed requirements, including requirements defined in the BEP, and align configurations with relevant industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 19650 and BCA IDD use cases.

• Understanding of Common Data Environment (CDE) concepts and their application within BIM and digital delivery projects.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Information Modelling, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting BIM or digital delivery initiatives within an Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) environment.

• Exposure to configuring CDE workflows, permissions, information structures, or related project settings.

• Experience with requirements documentation, process mapping, UAT, or implementation support.

• Exposure to multidisciplinary BIM coordination involving design, engineering, construction, or project management teams.

• Relevant BIM, information management, or digital construction training or certification.
