Senior Corporate Financial Analyst

HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR ATLANTA OFFICE

Job Purpose:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial and business information and analysis in support of the company's reporting, forecasting and planning processes.

Job Responsibilities:

● Extract and analyze financial, economic and operational data to support activity-based modeling and profitability pro formas for domestic customers. Provide insights and recommendations to business leaders on restructuring existing business as well as future business opportunities.
● Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
● Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess business performance and evaluate investment opportunities.
● Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
● Prepare insightful reports and presentations for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to gather data, perform analysis, and drive actionable insights.
● Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
● Lead planning and forecasting processes for areas of responsibility; responsible for inputting and validating inputs into the Hyperion Planning application.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

● Proven experience as a financial analyst, preferably in a corporate finance or FP&A role.
● Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, ERP systems).
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
● Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
● Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence decision-making.  
● CPA or CFA preferred.

Work Experience:

● 3-5 years of related job experience.

● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

● Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.

● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.

● Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.

● Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.

● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).

● Strong planning and organization skills are required.

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree

● Master's Degree Preferred

● Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) - CFA Institute

● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
