Company Description
With a history that dates back over 80 years, Starcom is a global communications planning and media leader. We are an agency still grounded in our founding principle that people are at the centre of all we do. Each day, we apply this belief to harness the transformative power of data and technology to inspire and move people and business forward. With more than 7,000 employees in over 100 offices around the world, we are the flagship Publicis Media agency that uses our ‘Power of One’ business model, with teams that span multiple disciplines across clients such as Aldi, P&G, Primark, Samsung, Stellantis, and Visa.
We place a huge focus on our People, and have driven flagship D&I and L&D programmes within Publicis Media; our goal is to help every individual reach their fullest potential, and we encourage everyone to make “Brave Plays” in how they approach their work and their own career development. As a result, we have an exceptionally energised and committed talent base, all of us proud of our welcoming and supportive culture, as evidenced by our recognition as one of Campaign’s Best Places to Work for five years in a row, Media Week's Agency of the Year 2025 and one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025.
Overview
We are hiring a Global Network Lead to help connect Primark’s growing international network and turn great work in individual markets into shared success at scale. Sitting at the heart of an evolving multi-market media ecosystem, you’ll bring central and local teams together around clearer ways of working, shared priorities and consistent delivery. You’ll help create an operating model that enables markets to learn from one another, adopt innovation and deliver stronger commercial outcomes. This is an opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership across media, marketing, technology and creative delivery.Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
- Own the global operating rhythm, connecting central and local teams across key international markets and creating clear, effective ways of working.
- Bring markets together around shared media and marketing priorities, encouraging knowledge sharing and scaling successful ideas across the network.
- Establish governance, roles and processes that make it easier for teams to brief, plan, activate and report consistently.
- Coordinate the rollout of global frameworks, processes and technologies, helping markets adopt new approaches and supporting onboarding into the wider operating model.
- Create greater consistency in performance reporting, KPI alignment and measurement while improving visibility of opportunities, risks and trends.
- Support strong commercial governance across agency investment, resource allocation, pricing and market investment deployment.
- Lead end-to-end coordination of campaign delivery across media and creative partners, improving briefing, approvals, localisation and launch readiness.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Experience working with complex international clients, multi-market programmes or similarly interconnected organisations.
- A strong understanding of media, marketing and agency operating models, with an appreciation of both central and local market needs.
- Excellent programme or project management skills, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to multiple interconnected priorities.
- The ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, agency partners and cross-functional teams.
- Experience creating or improving processes and helping teams successfully adopt new ways of working.
- Clear, thoughtful communication skills and an inclusive approach to bringing different teams and perspectives together.
- A combination of strategic thinking and attention to detail, with the adaptability to work effectively as priorities and organisations evolve.
