Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Spanish Speaking Patrol in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly in fluent Spanish and English, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales areas, receiving docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or other security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures and report concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
