Testing Specialist

Responsibilities

Cardinal Technology Systems Corp. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Testing Specialist to work for our company.

Summary

• Must possess a Moderate Risk, Confidential, Non-Critical Sensitive, Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation. Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies.
• The Testing Specialist/Tester provides software testing experience, including integration and acceptance testing. This role designs and executes IT software tests and evaluates results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. The Testing Specialist/Tester prepares test scripts and all required test documentation, designs and prepares all needed test data, analyzes internal security within systems, and reviews test results to evaluate conformance to design.

Requirements

• Must possess a Moderate Risk, Confidential, Non-Critical Sensitive, Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation. Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. Examples of relevant certifications may include, but are not limited to, ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), ISTQB Advanced Level certifications, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), CompTIA Security+, or other software testing, quality assurance, Agile, or technical certifications applicable to the role.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in computer software development and testing software applications, including system, regression, acceptance, end to end, performance, and automation testing.
• Knowledge developing and maintaining test cases using designated automated test tools.
• Experience providing software testing experience, including integration and acceptance testing.
• Experience designing and executing IT software tests.
• Experience evaluating test results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Experience preparing test scripts and all required test documentation.
• Experience designing and preparing needed test data.
• Experience analyzing internal security within systems.
• Experience reviewing test results and evaluating conformance to design.
