Platform Developer III, Business Applications

Invenergy follows a hybrid schedule, working in office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays if work permits.

Position Overview

As a Senior Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting business solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and well-architected applications that improve business processes, reporting, and user experience across the organization. This is a skilled professional role with responsibilities that include assignments of moderate or advanced complexity. Work is primarily independent, with review conducted at critical points, and the individual is accountable for complex tasks while contributing an advanced level of work within the team or function

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of solutions using Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps), Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Customize and configure Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, business rules, dashboards, and security roles with a high degree of independence
• Architect and develop Power Automate flows to support complex business processes, integrations, and automations
• Drive the integration of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions with external systems using APIs, Azure services, and connectors
• Own and enforce ALM best practices, including solution management, environment strategy, and deployment pipelines
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, issue resolution, and application enhancements with a focus on performance, security, and long-term maintainability
• Assess unusual circumstances and apply analytical and problem-solving techniques to find solutions for moderately complex issues with minimal guidance; participate in routine interactions with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Deep proficiency with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate development
• Strong experience with Dataverse, including tables, relationships, security roles, and data modeling
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, C#, and PCF Custom controls for Dynamics 365 client-side and server-side customizations and integrations
• Proven experience with solution management, environments, and deployment best practices in the Power Platform
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to independently translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• 4–6 years of directly relevant experience in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or related technologies; or a relevant advanced degree with 2–4 years of directly relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, or Azure DevOps
• Ability to build and optimize Power BI reports and datasets, including DAX measures and data models, in support of business reporting needs
• Experience integrating Copilot Studio agents with Dynamics 365
• Knowledge of SQL Server, Azure SQL, or data warehousing concepts
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment
• Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform or Dynamics 365
• Demonstrated ability to support the development and mentorship of lower-level team members and lead projects when needed.

$103,000.00 - $129,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
