Position Summary

We are looking for a strategic and execution-driven Director of Operational Technology to lead the commercialization of our Technology products, drive continued feature innovation, and spearhead the development and implementation of OT solutions that enhance our internal operations. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market — ideal for someone who thrives on turning cutting-edge capabilities into scalable, revenue-generating solutions while also applying technology to optimize how we work internally.

Key Responsibilities

Product Commercialization

• Develop and execute strategies for technology products, from beta launch through full-scale operational and commercial release
• Partner with Sales and Operations to define pricing, and positioning that resonates with target customers
• Build and manage relationships with key customers and partners to drive adoption and generate feedback loops that inform the product roadmap
• Establish product success metrics and KPIs, and hold teams accountable for results

Product & Feature Development

• Own and prioritize the operational technology roadmap, balancing new feature development with platform stability and scalability
• Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to translate customer needs and market signals into actionable product requirements
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, iterating rapidly based on usage data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence

OT Solutions for Internal Operations

• Assess current operational workflows and identify high-impact opportunities where OT solutions can drive efficiency, reduce friction, and improve outcomes
• Design, develop, and implement OT systems and tools that integrate with existing platforms used by the operations department
• Lead the evaluation and selection of third-party OT platforms, vendors, and technologies that align with company goals
• Establish governance frameworks, security protocols, and monitoring practices to ensure OT solutions are reliable, scalable, and compliant
• Partner closely with the operations department to ensure solution adoption, provide change management support, and measure impact post-implementation
• Build feedback loops between internal OT deployments and external product development — using real-world operational learnings to sharpen the product roadmap

Operational Leadership

• Establish processes and tooling that enable efficient product development at scale — from ideation through deployment
• Manage vendor and technology partner relationships relevant to the Operational Technology stack
• Ensure compliance, security, and reliability standards are embedded throughout the product and OT lifecycle

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience in product management, technology operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience commercializing AI, ML, or data-driven SaaS products — from concept to revenue
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing OT solutions that improve operational efficiency at scale
• Strong understanding of the AI/ML product development lifecycle, including model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
• Exceptional communication skills

Preferred

• Experience working with LLMs, generative AI, or predictive AI products
• Background in technical program management or solutions engineering
• Familiarity with MLOps tooling, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and API-based product delivery
• Experience integrating OT systems with enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, ITSM, etc.)
• Track record of driving operational change management initiatives alongside technology deployments
• Experience scaling products from early adopters to enterprise customers
• Experience in Project Management and Process Improvements

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel to field locations (as needed) – 50% of time.
• Ability to work in both office and operational/field environments.
