Description
SUMMARY
Individual is responsible for Quality functions and operating the waterjet, abrasive waterjet, shot peen, grit blast and thermal spray machines for processing components in PROGRESSIVE’S Process Services Department. This position is classified as safety-sensitive for FAA purposes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Visual Inspection of parts to customer standards
2. Maintain product flow through inspection process
3. Complete documentation of quality control paperwork
4. Product Non-Conformance Documentation and Control
5. Measuring and recording critical attributes using height gauge, calipers or micrometer
6. Computer knowledge (Excel and Word) Essential
7. Metallurgical preparation and evaluation
MISCELLANEOUS RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operate Process Services Equipment
2. Performs other work related duties as assigned

6. Print reading skills

8. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
9. Valid state driver’s license and good driving record
10. Ability to obtain Hilo Certification
