Job Schedule:  Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day Home Office)

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Specialist (CMM Mexico) to join our team in Mexico City. This position will be responsible for analyzing product performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities, improve profitability, and maximize sales volume. The role will support strategic decision-making through market intelligence, pricing analysis, product planning, and commercialization initiatives.

The Senior Product Specialist will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Planning, and Global teams to develop product strategies, monitor vehicle performance, support product launches, and provide executive-level insights that drive business growth and competitiveness.

A Day in the Life:

  • Analyze the performance of Nissan models, market share, sales volume, and competitor activities.
  • Monitor automotive market trends and identify opportunities to enhance profitability and sales performance.
  • Review competitor pricing, commercial offers, and market positioning to evaluate competitiveness.
  • Track and report Global, Regional, and Local KPIs related to product performance.
  • Develop presentations, reports, training materials, and product information for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support vehicle lifecycle management and commercial strategy development.
  • Coordinate vehicle inventory, sales volume, stock levels, and production planning activities with Sales Management teams.
  • Participate in pricing strategy development and related internal approval processes.
  • Support successful product launches, model year updates, and commercialization activities.
  • Conduct mystery shopper activities to assess competitors' commercial strategies and customer experience.
  • Prepare executive-level analyses and recommendations for Top Management and Global stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between product, sales, marketing, and business objectives.

Who We're Looking For:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Product Planning, Finance, or Product Management functions.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to interpret market, sales, and competitive data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience preparing business presentations and executive reports.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze pricing strategies, market trends, and commercial opportunities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Proactive attitude with strong learning agility and self-motivation.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent English proficiency.

Desired:

  • Experience within the automotive industry.
  • Experience in product planning, pricing strategy, or vehicle portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of JATO or similar automotive market intelligence databases.
  • Experience supporting vehicle launches and model year updates.
  • Understanding of sales forecasting, market share analysis, and inventory planning.
  • Experience conducting competitive benchmarking and mystery shopping activities.
  • Availability for occasional domestic travel (approximately 15%).
