🚀 Project Overview

You will join the Unified Content Management System (CMS) team, focusing on full-stack web development with a strong emphasis on backend service engineering, API orchestration, and content management infrastructure. In this role, you will construct the backend Node.js microservices, GraphQL/REST layers, and Next.js/React frontend components that power global web experiences and digital marketing platforms. You will build schema architectures in headless CMS environments (like Contentstack), drive platform performance and caching, and actively leverage AI coding tools to accelerate daily product delivery.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack & CMS Backend Development: Build, optimize, and maintain backend services, Node.js microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL or gRPC integrations supporting enterprise-wide Headless CMS platforms and global web applications.
• Frontend Component & UI Architecture: Develop reusable, accessible UI components, content blocks, and dynamic form workflows using React, modern CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g., Emotion), and enterprise design systems.
• Server-Side Rendering & Content Modeling: Design, maintain, and optimize SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) workflows in Next.js, while defining content schemas and models within Contentstack.
• Personalization & Experimentation: Implement and support A/B testing infrastructure, experiment tracking, and user personalization engines across digital marketing and content touchpoints.
• Third-Party Integrations & Performance: Integrate external web services and third-party APIs (e.g., caching layers with Redis, mapping systems), troubleshooting data flows and optimizing web vitals and caching.
• Testing, Quality & CI/CD: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) automated tests using Jest, Playwright, or React Testing Library, enforcing code quality standards via ESLint and Prettier within Git CI/CD pipelines.
• AI-Assisted Workflow Execution: Apply AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) into daily software development to accelerate feature building, debugging, refactoring, and test automation.

💡 Must-Have Skills

• Engineering Experience: 4–5+ years of professional software development experience (Mid-Senior level).
• Core Languages & Runtimes: Strong hands-on proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js for server-side engineering.
• Modern Web Frameworks: Advanced experience with React and Next.js (or equivalent SSR/SSG frameworks).
• APIs & Headless CMS: Direct experience building REST APIs, GraphQL or gRPC services, and configuring modern Headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentstack, Contentful, Strapi).
• Automated Testing & CI/CD: Experience writing unit, integration, and E2E tests with Jest, Playwright, or React Testing Library, supported by Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• A/B Testing & Personalization: Hands-on experience implementing web personalization engines and A/B testing frameworks.
• Applied AI-Assisted Development: Active use of AI coding tools to boost individual developer productivity (Note: pure AI/LLM model-building experience is NOT required).
• Styling & UI Systems: Familiarity with Emotion, CSS-in-JS, component isolation tools (Storybook / Chromatic), and enterprise component design systems.
• Node Frameworks & Caching: Hands-on experience with backend frameworks like Koa or Express.js, along with Redis in-memory caching for performance optimization.
• Integrations & Accessibility: Exposure to Google Maps API integrations and web accessibility standards testing (a11y).

🌐 Time Zone & Collaboration

The role requires collaboration with teams aligned to Central Time (CT) and Eastern Time (EST).

Flexibility to overlap with North America business hours is required in this remote-first setup.
