Lot Attendant - Orland Hills Car Sales - Full Time

Overview

The Car Sales Division has an opportunity for a FULL-TIME Car Sales Lot Attendant at the Orland Hills dealership. The Lot Attendant’s primary responsibility will be to maintain the lot presentation at the dealership. This is a great opportunity for a dependable person with great attention to detail. The starting rate of pay is $17.50 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week. The location of the dealership is 9201 W 159TH ST, ORLAND HILLS, IL 60487.

 

Schedule offered is: 

• Monday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Tuesday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Wednesday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Thursday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Friday: OFF
• Saturday: 9:00am - 7:00pm
• Sunday: OFF

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain lot presentation
• Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle (registration, plates, etc.)
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Drive vehicles to and from various locations as needed
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry -standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• May assist with photo taking of vehicles
• Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exterior of dealership location
• Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the dealership location
• Work is performed outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Must have valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation and/or at-fault accident on driving record in the past three years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have 12 consecutive months of work/organizational experience
