Job Description & Summary

Do you want to help financial institutions adopt AI responsibly and confidently? Join PwC to lead high-impact client engagements and collaborate with specialists across our global network to develop practical AI risk and governance solutions that strengthen resilience, accountability and trust.

Join our Financial Services, Risk and Regulation advisory team

Join our Financial Services, Risk and Regulation advisory team in Denmark, where you will help financial service organisations navigate the risks and opportunities associated with AI. PwC is at the forefront of AI risk and governance, combining global capabilities with deep financial services and regulatory expertise. You will work alongside experienced colleagues and collaborate with specialists across PwC’s global network to bring international insights and leading practices to our clients. Together, we develop practical solutions that support responsible AI adoption, strengthen governance and build trust.

Focus on AI risk and governance

As a Senior Manager, you will lead engagements that help financial institutions evaluate AI risks and establish effective governance throughout the AI lifecycle. You will advise senior stakeholders and work with clients, PwC colleagues in Denmark and specialists across our global network to turn regulatory and technical complexity into practical solutions.

This means that you will:

  • Lead assessments of AI use cases, associated risks, governance frameworks and control environments to identify and address operational, legal, ethical, and model-related risks.
  • Design and implement AI governance frameworks, policies and controls aligned with industry standards and relevant regulatory expectations.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on responsible AI adoption, governance structures, risk appetite and oversight.
  • Build trusted client relationships and contribute to the development of our AI risk and governance services and market presence.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee engagement quality and support the professional development of colleagues.

Contribute with your experience within AI risk and governance

We know you cannot do everything in advance. Therefore, the most important thing for us is that you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in economics, business administration, finance, risk management, data science or another relevant field.
  • Bring strong industry experience from a bank, insurer, pension provider, asset manager or another financial institution.
  • Have hands-on experience evaluating AI risks and designing or implementing AI governance frameworks and controls.
  • Have practical knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards, including the EU AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001, and understand their practical implications for financial services organisations.
  • Can lead complex engagements, develop trusted client relationships and communicate technical and regulatory topics clearly to senior stakeholders.

Experience from consulting or financial services regulation is an advantage, but it is not a requirement. Professional fluency in English is required; Danish or another Nordic language would be beneficial.

Grow here. Go further.

As part of PwC, you will join a market success and a friendly workplace. Between the two trust emerges, careers develop, and you and your colleagues will create innovative solutions for the businesses and society that we are all a part of.
