• Asegurar el cumplimiento con la política corporativa de contabilidad, procedimientos, normas, reglas y prácticas.
• Asegurar el reporteo correcto de la administración local, requerimientos de impuestos, y el llenado de retorno de impuestos en tiempo.
• Administrar las relaciones con las autoridades de impuestos, oficina de servicio de nómina, auditores y otras agencias relacionadas.
• Asegurar que el control interno de los sistemas de contabilidad están en lugar y se mantienen en orden para salvaguardar los activos de la compañía y evitar pasivos.
• Preparar información de conciliación de hoja de balance de complejidad moderada.
• Preparar recibos de efectivo, registros de desembolsos y provisiones mensuales.
• Preparar las provisiones de flujo de efectivo y asegurar que los fondos suficientes estén siempre disponibles para alcanzar los pasivos de la compañía.
• Mantener al Gerente de Contabilidad y Contabilidad en Miami de las actividades relacionadas con la contabilidad enviando los reportes requeridos y manteniéndolos informados en temas y cambios con las leyes y regulaciones relacionadas.
• Podría ser requerido que realice otras actividades asignadas.
Requerimientos mínimos:
Educación Mínima:
• Licenciatura en Contabilidad.
• Inglés fluido.
Experiencia Mínima:
• Cuatro (4) años de experiencia en contabilidad.
• Certificación profesional local si se requiere.
• Dos (2) años de experiencia como Contador.
Habilidades mínimas requeridas:
• Conocimiento extenso de los principios generales aceptados de contabilidad.
• Conocimiento de informática.
• Experiencia con hojas de cálculo preferentemente.
• Excelentes habilidades de análisis, matemática y comunicación (verbal/escrita).

Job Description – Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets
Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the accounting management of United States Fixed Assets, ensuring accurate recording, control, depreciation, and compliance with corporate accounting policies and applicable accounting standards. This position requires continuous interaction with US-based teams; therefore, a high level of English proficiency and prior experience in international corporate environments are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal procedures, and applicable accounting standards (US GAAP preferred).
- Manage the full fixed assets lifecycle for the United States, including additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and monthly close activities.
- Prepare and review fixed assets and accumulated depreciation account reconciliations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to fixed assets.
- Analyze significant fixed asset movements and explain variances.
- Ensure internal controls related to fixed assets are properly documented and operating effectively.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests related to fixed assets.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the US accounting team, providing required reports and analyses.
- Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements – Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Advanced English proficiency (minimum TOEIC score of 800).
- Minimum Requirements – Experience
- 4–6 years of accounting experience.
- Proven experience managing fixed assets (capitalization, disposals, depreciation, and close).
- Experience supporting US operations.
- Experience in multinational environments is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred).
- Leadership and team management.
- Solid experience with fixed asset accounting and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
ERP / Software Experience
- Oracle (preferred).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Certifications (Preferred)
- CPA or equivalent certification.
- Fixed Assets or US GAAP training.
