Summary:
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee our food production line, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards. Leading a team of production line workers, you will provide guidance, training, and support to maximize performance and output. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities will contribute to the overall success of our production line.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the efficient operation of the food production line, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and productivity standards.
- Lead and support a team of production line workers, providing guidance, training, and coaching to enhance their skills and maximize performance.
- Monitor production processes and output to maintain consistent quality and quantity.
- Identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks that may hinder production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and implement proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to address any production-related concerns.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinating with procurement to ensure sufficient supply of raw materials.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Foster a positive and safe working environment, promoting teamwork and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent, degree in food science or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in food production or a related role.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other production software.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must possess the ability to read, understand and communicate verbally in English. Bilingual English/Mandarin or English/ Spanish is required.
Physical Requirements:
- This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.
Working Conditions:
- This job is performed in a production environment that may have exposure to heat, noise, and other environmental factors associated with food production.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Location: 6491 Caballero Blvd., Buena Park, CA 90620.
- Monday - Saturday, 10am-5pm
