Conveyor & Automation Project Manager

You will be responsible for managing conveyor and automation projects from kickoff through commissioning, serving as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating engineering, purchasing, operations, suppliers, and vendors. This role will own project schedules, budgets, scope, risk, and customer communication while ensuring milestones are delivered on time and within expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects in manufacturing or automation, along with experience with conveyor systems or industrial automation and a working knowledge of related mechanical and electrical systems.

This is a Direct Hire position required to be fully Onsite with 20%-35% travel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of project management experience in conveyor systems, automation, or industrial machinery
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in conveyors and automation equipment
• Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary manufacturing or automation projects
  
  

Pluses:

• PMP certification or PMI-based project management training
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Planner, or similar tools
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Epicor Prophet 21
• Background in automotive, e-commerce fulfillment, or industrial automation project delivery
