RN Director Emergency Services / ER Director

Our client, a 150+ bed healthcare facility in beautiful, sunny Northwestern AZ has a need for an ER Director to join their team.

• Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Emergency Department.

• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.

• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.

• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement
2. Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school Required. Master’s Degree preferred
3. BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handle with Care certifications
4. Emergency Department nursing and proven leadership experience in the Emergency Department
