The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Hourly Rate:
$20 - $24/hr.
OVERVIEW
The Human Resources (HR) Intern will support the Corporate HR team in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Total Rewards. They will also gain and apply knowledge about Plexus' industry, infrastructure and business during the internship.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the HR team members to handle daily tasks, as well as assist in accomplishing long-term projects and implementation of HR initiatives.
- Work closely with the HR team in the areas of talent acquisition, talent development and total rewards. You may coordinate candidate interview scheduling, contribute to content design for leadership development initiatives, and/or support projects within compensation and benefits.
- Assist in correspondence, research, and other HR matters under the direction and supervision of the HR team.
- Learn and use our HR systems to support the HR team in day to day tasks.
- Additional duties as assigned by the HR team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field for the entire duration of internship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Junior level status
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Physical Requirements:
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
