Description
You’ll assist with a variety of creative and administrative tasks that help make our program offerings more visible, accessible, and engaging to the community.
The ideal candidate is organized and systems-oriented—someone who understands how thoughtful design and clear communication can make it easier for our community to find and enjoy the programs we offer.
Support website updates and event calendar maintenance Help manage email campaigns and outreach communications Assist in the creation of promotional materials (flyers, digital ads, social media content) Attend community events as a marketing ambassador Capture and organize content from programs and events Maintain marketing inventory and assist with administrative tasks Become familiar with the division’s many nature and history sites that offer public programming, to better support outreach and storytelling efforts
Must be at least 21 years old. Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends, with a willingness to travel between facilities. Must have some knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Social Media platforms. Must have basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar). Must have a valid driver's license.
Familiarity with platforms like Constant Contact, Facebook, Instagram, Sprout Social, and WordPress Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Customer service or event experience is a plus Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
