OUR TEAM
Maverick Studios is where creativity meets impact. As the in-house agency for Inspire Brands, we craft award-winning work that spans design, video, photography, print, and beyond. Serving six iconic brands—Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Baskin-Robbins, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and Sonic—our team is a powerhouse of collaboration and passion. We’re all about delivering best-in-class creativity, innovation, and solutions that resonate across every project.
OUR CULTURE
At Inspire Brands, we’re not just dreamers; we’re doers. We thrive on innovation and welcome bold ideas at every level, from the kitchen to the boardroom. Here, taking risks and thinking differently aren’t just encouraged—they’re celebrated. It’s how we started, and it’s how we succeed.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is based in our Bogotá, Colombia office and works as part of a globally distributed creative team. Success in this role requires strong cross cultural communication, comfort working virtually with U.S. based partners, and the ability to independently manage priorities in a fast moving, evolving creative environment.
At Maverick Studios, great design is more than beautiful visuals—it’s how our brands connect, stand out, and inspire action. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll help lead the creative charge across Inspire’s portfolio of iconic restaurant brands. You’ll design high-impact, cross-platform work while mentoring junior creatives and helping drive creative consistency, efficiency, and excellence.
From pitch decks to packaging, signage to social, you’ll work across media and departments to deliver smart, strategic design that moves fast and never misses the details. If you're equal parts concept-driven and execution-obsessed, this is where your next bold chapter begins.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
- Creative Execution: Design compelling, brand-forward content across print, digital, POP, events, sales, and social—always rooted in strategy and aligned with brand standards.
- Design Quality Steward: Review junior designers’ and copywriters’ work, offering feedback to ensure consistency, clarity, and creative strength across deliverables.
- Collaborative Partner: Work closely with creatives, producers, and brand teams to bring ideas to life—from concept to rollout.
- Cross‑Cultural Communicator: Partner effectively with teammates and stakeholders across countries, time zones, and cultures—communicating clearly, proactively, and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
- Workload & Priority Owner: Independently manage workload, timelines, and priorities across multiple projects—raising risks early, adapting to shifting needs, and ensuring consistent, on‑time delivery.
- AI‑Enabled Process Thinker: Continuously explore and apply AI‑supported tools and workflows to reduce repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and support higher‑value creative thinking—while maintaining quality and brand integrity.
- Photo & Video Contributor: Support creative leadership by helping direct shoots and producing supporting documents and visual references for content creation.
- Template + Toolkit Builder: Help scale great design by building and refining templates, design systems, and repeatable visual frameworks.
- Deadline Manager: Coordinate revisions and delivery with project managers and stakeholders, juggling multiple assignments with speed and accuracy.
- File & Asset Manager: Organize, maintain, and archive graphic files, toolkits, and brand assets to ensure clean handoffs and easy access across the team.
- Process Enhancer: Use traffic tools, briefs, team collaboration, and emerging technologies to keep projects organized, adaptable, and moving smoothly through review rounds in a fast‑changing environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: 5–10 years of professional design experience, ideally in an in-house creative team or fast-paced agency environment. Experience working with food, beverage, or retail brands is a strong plus.
- Design Excellence: Strong portfolio showcasing best-in-class layout, color, typography, visual storytelling, and cross-channel campaign work. Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud—especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Tech Fluency: Comfortable using project management platforms like Workfront, Jira, or Monday. Bonus if you’ve worked in After Effects, XD, or Premiere for motion and digital work.
- Creative Agility: Ability to flex across formats, adapt to different brand voices, and shift quickly between projects without sacrificing detail or quality.
- Team Mentality: A collaborative, positive partner who uplifts the creative process and the people around you—open to feedback and eager to grow.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: You think through design challenges, find smart solutions, and confidently guide others to execute at a high level.
- Clear & Confident Communicator: Strong communicator who can articulate ideas, present work, ask questions, and provide updates clearly when working across cultures, countries, and time zones.
- Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in an evolving environment—able to think through processes, suggest improvements, and adapt quickly as tools, workflows, and expectations change.
- AI‑Curious Designer: Actively curious about AI and automation and how they can be responsibly integrated into creative workflows to reduce manual or repetitive work and elevate output.
- Self‑Directed & Accountable: Highly organized and self‑motivated, with the ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with minimal oversight.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE:
- Design for Iconic Brands: Shape the visual identity of household names like Dunkin’, Arby’s, Jimmy John’s, and more.
- Creative Ownership: Be trusted to lead and elevate work, while collaborating across disciplines to bring big ideas to life.
- Team-First Culture: Work with down-to-earth, highly skilled creatives who care deeply about the work and each other.
- Endless Variety: Tackle a steady stream of new campaigns, formats, and design challenges every week.
