We are looking for a Network Administrator (Riga office) 

  • A competitive monthly salary of 2500-2700 EUR gross, based on experience, education, and competencies, plus an annual performance-based bonus
  • Permanent full-time employment
  • Hybrid model of work 1 day on site and 4 days remote

About the Role

As a Network Administrator, you will play a key role in managing a high-traffic enterprise network across multiple on-premises and cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with Development, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure the network remains stable, resilient, and secure.

 

Required Experience

  • Strong knowledge of core networking services, including DNS and DHCP, and protocols such as IP, TCP/UDP, IPSec, BGP, and RADIUS (IEEE 802.1X)
  • Proven experience with Fortigate and Aruba
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms, primarily AWS
  • Experience in designing and implementing high-availability and failover solutions for network infrastructure
  • Strong network troubleshooting, packet analysis, and debugging skills

Responsibilities

  • Resolve network issues reported by users and monitoring systems in a timely manner
  • Monitor network performance, identify weaknesses, and proactively troubleshoot issues
  • Support the implementation and integration of new network solutions and third-party services
  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade network equipment and corporate infrastructure
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and business partners to resolve issues and support integrations
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring proper documentation of problems and resolutions
  • Improve the stability, availability, and reliability of network infrastructure
  • Enhance network security in collaboration with the Information Security team, including supporting audits
  • Perform backup operations, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
  • Maintain accurate configuration records and operational documentation
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and best practices
  • Plan and manage renewals of network software and service licenses
