Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support company growth
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, and employee development
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Administer compensation, benefits, and HR policies
- Maintain HR systems, reporting, and key performance metrics
- Process employee separations and terminations in compliance with labor laws
- Coordinate OSHA compliance, harassment training, and workplace violence prevention training
- Hold department managers accountable to company policies and procedures
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
- Support organizational planning and continuous process improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, and performance management
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, DocuSign, HRIS/ATS platforms, and reporting tools
- Experience in the construction, home improvement, or skilled trades industry is a plus
