SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, strong people skills, a growth mindset, and a positive attitude. They will be a collaborative team player who is solution-oriented, able to work quickly and efficiently in an office environment, and possess a high sense of urgency. This role directly supports accounts receivable processes for industrial refrigeration projects and clients. Multi-tasking is essential in this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Additional duties may be assigned).
• Customer invoicing and collecting
• Assisting customers with invoice inquiries and payment method updates
• Sending statements of outstanding invoices to customers
• Reviewing A/R aging reports and following up on past due balances
• Progressive invoicing on industrial refrigeration engineering and construction projects
• Assisting with system implementations and process changes
• Building sustainable relationships with industrial refrigeration customers and partners
• Managing a small volume of incoming phone calls
• Assisting with other duties as requested
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role, preferably supporting industrial refrigeration operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and accounting/ERP software used in industrial refrigeration service and construction operations; ability to learn new systems and processes.
