Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a fully cleared and talented Senior Technical Director to join our team. In this role you will get to support key activities in defense of emerging threats in the cybersecurity domain.  You will work as part of a team that analyzes data and develops and tailors capabilities with the goal to prevent and eradicate threats to critical U.S. systems.

 What You'll Be Doing:

• Shape technical strategy and lead the technical execution of program engineering and deployment of advanced solutions (including AI/ML) for cybersecurity program.
• Present technical findings, project updates, and strategic recommendations to mission leadership and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical milestones, ensuring alignment with longer term mission objectives.
• Identify emerging solutions, services, and best practices to keep the team at the forefront of innovation.
• Collaborate with mission leadership and technical points of contact to ensure transparency and alignment of program execution with government requirements.
• Ensure delivery of timely and accurate solutions that support mission outcomes.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues and support mitigation of risks by proactively keeping mission stakeholders apprised of risks on the critical path of deliverables.
• Translate mission customer qualitative analysis process and goals into quantitative formulations that are coded into software prototypes.
• Oversee the development and implementation of statistical and machine learning techniques to create descriptive and predictive analytics.
• Evaluate and validate the performance of analytics using standard techniques and metrics and oversee development of individual analytic efforts guiding them toward solutions that can scale to large datasets.
• Mentor team of engineers to help them grow professionally.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and technology, driving their adoption as appropriate across the team.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with industry leaders to foster program innovation for the mission customer.
• Support program staffing by joining interviews with potential candidates ensuring proper feedback loop.
• Support organic growth for the program with the delivery of white papers.
• Support the growth of the Parsons NSO directorate with business development activities.

 What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or a Computer Science degree. Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree may be substituted for some experience.
• 10+ years experience within Cybersecurity
• 5+ years experience leading teams.
• Experience working with analyst teams including conducting data analysis and creating data visualizations. 
• Advanced presentation skills
• Superb oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail while making decisive decisions
• Technical thought leadership and problem-solving skills
• Active TS SCI w/Polygraph security clearance

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience working within the Intelligence Community.
• Experience designing/implementing machine learning, data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, advanced statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, or software engineering with data analysis software (R, Python, SAS, MATLAB).
• Experience with Python/Jupyter Notebooks, SQL and relational databases, ElasticSearch/Kibana/OpenSearch. 

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $176,900.00 - $332,400.00

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
