As a Project Management for Cabin Innovation & Integration, you’ll bridge the gap between breakthrough concepts and real-world aviation. Operating at the cutting edge of aerospace technology, you will transform Proof-of-Concept prototypes into fully industrialized cabin systems, integrating your solutions into state-of-the-art platforms like Cabin Mock ups or Test Aircrafts. From hands-on rapid prototyping to conducting technical assessments against rigorous airworthiness standards (ABD-100, DO-160), you will play a hands-on role in defining how millions of passengers experience air travel.

Role Overview

The role  will analyze, develop, and integrate cutting-edge cabin technologies into aircraft environments. Bridging the gap between Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and full industrialization, the candidate will lead innovation projects, manage rapid prototyping, and work closely with global engineering communities, flight test teams, and certification experts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical & Engineering Integration

• Develop comprehensive engineering incorporation plans to integrate innovative cabin projects into aircraft platforms.

• Conduct technical assessments for aircraft installation against industry standards (e.g., ABD-100, DO-160).

• Ensure all cabin engineering integration solutions strictly align with airworthiness and certification requirements.

• Utilize specialized lab tools and rapid-prototyping toolchains to build and evaluate prototypes.

• Coordinate the integration of prototypes into the Mock-ups.

2. Execution

• Ensure project progress and development in accordance to project planning

• Collaborate with internal/external project partners, certification specialists, and flight test teams.

• Regularly document progress and deliver technical reporting & requirements to key stakeholders.

3. Strategic Capability Building

• Develop local hands-on cabin engineering and rapid-prototyping competencies

• Support the preparation and execution of technical demonstrations for internal Airbus stakeholders and occasionally external customers

Key Deliverables & Outputs

• Engineering Solutions: Fully compliant, mature engineering integration plans for cabin innovations including requirements, technical solutions and time and resource planning, etc. 

• Project Milestones: On-time delivery of technical documentation and other project related documents.

• Stakeholder Materials: Clear, high-impact technical presentation decks for demonstrations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Education: Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in aerospace or systems engineering.

Technical & Software Skills

• Proficiency in technical requirement management, resource planning management

• CAD software for technical design and spatial integration.

• Familiarity with aviation standards (ABD-100, DO-160, or equivalent airworthiness codes).

• Proficiency in standard productivity suites (MS Office / Google Workspace).

Core Competencies

• Ownership & Execution: Highly proactive, results-oriented, and persistent in tackling technical challenges.

• Communication: Proven ability to present complex technical drawings, specifications, and project statuses clearly.

Language Proficiency

• English: Full professional proficiency (fluent written and spoken).

• Chinese (Mandarin): Native or full professional proficiency (fluent written and spoken).

• German is a plus

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Formal Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).

• Direct experience in Avionics or the Airlines/OEM industry.
