Non-Technical Project/Program Management New College Grad- Bachelor's/Master's (Austin, TX)

TEAM OVERVIEW:

Our team supports Applied Materials’ spare parts business, making sure semiconductor manufacturers get the replacement parts they need to keep their equipment running.

We partner closely with internal customers, sales, supply chain and IT teams to design and improve the processes behind how spare parts are ordered, planned and delivered. Our team is made of 5 people based in US, Singapore and Italy, you’ll join a collaborative, fast-paced group in Austin where new graduates get real ownership, mentorship and direct exposure to internal customers and business leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for tools and processes that support the spare parts business, balancing customer value, business impact and effort
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives)
• Meet with business users, customers and cross-functional partners to understand their needs and translate them into product features and requirements
• Map current business processes, identify pain points and inefficiencies, and recommend and implement improvements
• Test and validate new features before release, and support user training, communication and adoption
• Track progress and results, and share regular updates with stakeholders and leadership

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Basic knowledge with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic Analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data to support decisions
• Basic knowledge with process mapping & documentation (e.g., flowcharts, Visio, Lean or Six Sigma concepts) is a plus
• Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or data tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL) is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• GPA requirements 3.0 or above preferred
• Strong learning mindset: ability to learn quickly, apply feedback and demonstrate curiosity
• Willing to effectively collaborate in team environment and learn from SME
• Accountability: willing to take ownership of job assigned and take initiative
• Keep professional & respectful communication with people

Salary Range:

$60,000.00 - $77,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
