Position Overview:

A key leader within talent & development and serves as a senior consultant and advisor in organizational effectiveness. This role leads the design and delivery of organizational development (OD) strategies, programs, and consulting services that strengthen leaders, teams, and organizations, improve performance, support transformation, and build organizational capability at scale.

Partners with leaders, human resources (HR) teams, and business stakeholders to address organizational challenges through leadership consulting, team effectiveness, organization design, change management, facilitation, assessment, and culture initiatives. The role translates business needs into practical organizational solutions that improve leadership effectiveness, team performance, employee engagement, and successful adoption of change.

Collaborates across functions to support enterprise priorities while ensuring organizational development practices, tools, and approaches are aligned with organizational goals and business objectives.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, or related field.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

6 recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Progressive experience in organizational development, organizational effectiveness, consulting, leadership development, human resources, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and business stakeholders.
• Experience leading organizational change, organizational design, team effectiveness, leadership consulting, culture, or transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and influence across a complex, matrixed organization.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale organizational development programs with measurable outcomes.
• Strong consulting, facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive organizational matters with professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion.

Pay Range is $165,339.20 to $264,555.20 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
