Description

The Manager (Research Programme Management) is responsible for overseeing and driving NTU's research programmes and strategic initiatives in healthy longevity. The role supports the University's research and innovation objectives by developing and coordinating a shared scientific roadmap across NTU's academic units, implementing internal funding programmes to catalyse interdisciplinary collaborations, and strengthening NTU's competitiveness for external funding opportunities.

The incumbent will work closely with Colleges, Schools, researchers, funding agencies, healthcare institutions, industry partners and other stakeholders to facilitate research translation, foster strategic partnerships, and support the successful delivery of healthy longevity research initiatives. The role also oversees the governance and administration of programme funding, ensuring effective, compliant and efficient management of resources to maximise research impact and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate a shared scientific roadmap for healthy longevity across NTU's academic units.

  • Implement internal funding initiatives and coordinate research programmes to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and maximise research impact.

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with academic, clinical, government, industry, and international stakeholders.

  • Monitor programme performance, funding utilisation, and key deliverables to ensure successful implementation of research initiatives.

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, workshops, symposia, and committee support related to healthy longevity initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business Administration, Engineering, Science, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related fields).

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in research programme management, research management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, or related fields.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience in the higher education, healthcare, research, public sector, or innovation ecosystem would be advantageous.
