Job Summary

Responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and

compliance activities while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.

Primary responsibilities:

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities within established timelines.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and other accounting adjustments.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items.
• Review General Ledger (GL) accounts and analyze unusual balances or fluctuations.
• Process manual invoices for payments related to third party vendors
• Provide relevant information and cooperate with audit requests whenever required
• Support tax and statutory accounting/compliance requirements as applicable.
• Ensure transactions comply with company accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting

• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities and data management
• Coordinate with business teams, Finance, Tax, AP, Payroll, Treasury, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation, including effective use of AI and other digital tools.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure appropriate backup and knowledge transfer within the team.

Mandatory Skills:

• CA (Fresher)/Graduate or PG degree in Finance with 1 to 2 years of experience in relevant field
• Strong accounting and GL knowledge, analytical/problem-solving skills
• Basic level proficiency in using MS Excel
• Communication and stakeholder management, ownership/accountability,
• Proficient in gathering, processing, analyzing and presenting data.

Good to Have:

• Understanding of Financial Software
