Strategy Analyst

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategy Analyst to join our Corporate Strategy team at Axiom.

This position will be onsite in Austin TX.

As a Strategy Analyst, you will research markets and competitors, collaborate with research firms and internal stakeholders, and build the analyses needed to answer strategic questions. You will synthesize financial filings, third-party research, and other data sources to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics, developing the judgment to understand what matters and where to look next.

What a typical day looks like:

• Monitor competitor announcements, earnings calls, investor days, and industry news, and flag what senior leadership needs to know

• Build financial models conduct high-quality business, market, and competitor analysis; and help identify and assess existing and new market initiatives 

• Building externally facing macro, market, and competitor analysis 

• Develop and deliver impactful presentation materials 

• Turn analysis into clear briefs, charts, and slides that surface key insights for leadership

• Participate in and drive analysis for specific strategic initiatives with moderate direction and oversight

• Support market sizing and financial models by developing the underlying data and assumptions

• Respond to quick-turn research requests from senior stakeholders and business partners, often on short timelines

• Use AI-enabled research tools to work through large volumes of source material and surface what matters

Some of the experience we are looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics) or equivalent practical experience

• 3+ years of experience in corporate strategy, market research, competitor research

• Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.

• Advanced aptitude and/or ability to learn and become highly adept in advance Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 

Preferred qualifications

• Experience building briefs, charts, and slides for leadership audiences

• Experience using AI-enabled research tools

• Excellent written communication and attention to detail, with the ability to summarize findings clearly and manage multiple requests on short timelines
