Overview
The National Accounts Sales Department internship role is a unique opportunity for someone who loves a challenge and is eager to learn more about adult and children’s book sales across National Accounts/chain bookstores. Ideally, we’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, knowledge of excel and PowerPoint, an awareness of marketplace trends, and an interest in adult and children’s books.
Join a team of dynamic, innovative, hands-on sales reps responsible for bringing adult and children’s books to an ever-changing marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare online collections in Edelweiss as well as sales presentations in PPT
- Assist in gathering sales materials (both physical and digital) to aid with sell-in
- Optimize e-commerce product pages with appropriate supplemental images/assets
- Maintain lists of key promotional titles at relevant accounts
- Assist in sales tracking and analysis
- Help build monthly newsletters featuring account promotions
- Help support local buys by identifying appropriate store distribution suggestions
- Perform other special business projects for Sales Management team, as appropriate
Qualifications
- Candidates must be available to work in our NYC office from Monday – Thursday for a total of 28 hours per week, from June 7 – August 12, 2027. Compensation for this internship is $18 per hour.
- Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2027 or 2028 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry level candidates with up to 1 year of work experience.
