API & Integration Analyst [Hybrid - Lisbon, Portugal]

We are looking for an experienced **API & Integration Analyst** to join strategic initiatives focused on enterprise integration architecture and governance. The professional will be responsible for defining integration standards, documenting best practices, designing complex application integrations, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality integration solutions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and solid experience with enterprise integration platforms, integration patterns, and governance.

**Location:** Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid)

## Tasks

• Define, document, and maintain integration architecture guidelines and governance standards.
• Design and specify complex application integrations across enterprise environments.
• Define new integration rules, standards, and best practices aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Present and defend architectural decisions and integration proposals to technical and business stakeholders.
• Support strategic projects involving enterprise integration initiatives.
• Ensure integration solutions follow security, scalability, and maintainability best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams throughout project delivery.
• Produce clear technical documentation for integration standards, specifications, and governance.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of integration platforms and emerging integration technologies.
• Promote delivery quality and adherence to architectural governance processes.

## Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Up to **15 years of professional experience** as an API and Integration Analyst or in similar integration architecture roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration platforms and integration patterns.
• Experience defining integration governance, standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Experience designing and documenting complex application integrations.
• Experience presenting and defending technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in collaborative environments with global teams.
• Strong commitment to delivery quality.
• Professional proficiency in **English (mandatory)**.
• Knowledge of **Portuguese** is a plus.
• Knowledge of **Spanish** is a plus.

**Nice to Have**

• Experience in the **Energy & Utilities** sector.
• Knowledge of **GDPR (RGPD)**.
• Experience working with **Agile methodologies**.
• Experience using **Jira** and **Confluence**.
• Previous participation in strategic enterprise transformation projects.
