Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hospitality location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to access control and incident response while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, students, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel grounds, guest areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing information, and supporting a welcoming environment while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
