About the Role

SEMRON is a young tech startup developing powerful hardware that enables AI applications to run directly on smartphones and other mobile devices—quickly, efficiently, and without cloud dependency.

Our team consists of around 20 people from all over the world. We work with focus but without rigid corporate structures. For us, productivity and a great working atmosphere go hand in hand—we value personal responsibility, short decision-making processes, and open communication.
To achieve our ambitious growth targets, we plan to welcome many new team members over the coming months. Until now, many organizational recruiting tasks have been handled by our Technical Leads. You will take these tasks off their hands, coordinate the processes, and ensure a professional candidate experience. You will work closely with management, our Technical Leads, and the entire team and will receive all the support you need.

This is a paid internship with a duration of up to 6 month.

What you will do:

Recruiting Coordination

• You will publish and manage our job advertisements across different recruiting platforms and keep them up to date.
• You will communicate with candidates and ensure a friendly, professional, and reliable candidate experience.
• You will coordinate interviews between candidates, Technical Leads, and management.
• You will guide candidates through the interview process, follow up on feedback, and coordinate the next steps.
• You will maintain candidate data and prepare clear pipeline and status reports for management.
• You will help us identify suitable recruiting channels and continuously improve our hiring processes.

Onboarding, Offboarding & HR Administration

• You will coordinate the administrative onboarding process for new team members.
• You will ensure that documents, equipment, system access, introductions, and appointments are prepared on time.
• You will support new employees before and during their first days at SEMRON.
• You will coordinate offboarding processes, including the return of equipment, deactivation of system access, and other required steps.
• You will carefully maintain checklists, templates, documentation, and relevant employee data.
• You will support general HR tasks and help us build standardized and scalable people processes.

What you should bring in:

• You are studying business administration, human resources, business psychology, social sciences, or a comparable subject.
• You are interested in recruiting, HR, and working with people in an international startup.
• You work reliably, independently, and in a well-organized manner, even when coordinating several recruitment processes at once.
• You communicate in a friendly, professional, and dependable manner and have very good German and good English skills.
• You handle applications, employee data, and other confidential information carefully and discreetly.
• You are confident using Microsoft Office and SharePoint and are willing to use AI tools pragmatically to make recruiting and HR processes more efficient.
