Santander US Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is looking for the best talent to support our growth ambition and become future leaders through our 2027 Investment Banking Summer Associate Program. You will work alongside experienced professionals across Santander CIB while developing the technical, leadership, and interpersonal skills needed to succeed in investment banking.
What You Will Gain
Our Investment Banking Summer Associate Program, beginning in June 2027, provides comprehensive training and an introduction to Santander CIB and its capabilities. You will combine this training with hands-on experience, developing both technical and interpersonal skills throughout the internship.

The 2027 Summer Associate Program is for Master of Business Administration (MBA) students with an expected graduation date of May/June 2028. Based in New York, you will be part of a global investment banking platform, working closely with colleagues and clients across multiple geographies.

Santander Investment Banking (IB) teams provide strategic advice to corporate clients, supporting them in the execution of their most important business objectives.
Whether it is raising capital for an expansion or acquiring another company, investment bankers provide innovative financial solutions to meet clients' needs. Our bankers focus on developing long-term relationships and crafting strategies that help clients grow and innovate. We provide strategic advice, help clients access capital, and execute transactions, all while helping them manage risks in today's complex environment. We work across teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that help clients achieve their objectives and remain competitive in global markets.
This program will provide the skills and experience needed to become a thoughtful, strategic advisor. You will learn the importance of client service and how we build long-term relationships by putting clients' needs first, while developing the technical foundation necessary to launch a career in investment banking.
The base pay range for this position is $175,000 annually, pro-rated for the duration of the summer. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

What We Are Looking For
Master of Business Administration (MBA) students with an expected graduation date of May/June 2028.
3+ years of prior work experience.
Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a desire to exceed expectations.
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and courage in leadership.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken; foreign language skills are a plus.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Ability to work independently on special projects.
Ability to effectively contribute in a team environment.

What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
