Team Marketing & Business Operations (TMBO) sits at the intersection of the TGL & WTGL League Office and the existing (and future) TGL & WTGL teams, helping to create an ecosystem in which all parties can build successful brands and optimize revenue. This position will help keep work moving across the League and teams by coordinating projects, schedules, meetings, materials, and information. This person will be highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will build trusted relationships across internal and external stakeholders, anticipate coordination needs, and ensure teams have the information, materials, and follow-up required to stay aligned. This position reports to the Director, TMBO – Golf.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between the League Office and team stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and timely follow-through
  • Support teams across a variety of business and operational needs, serving as a resource and point of coordination between teams and the League Office
  • Coordinate and distribute schedules, deadlines, meeting materials, and other key information across league and team stakeholders
  • Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, action items, and dependencies across Team Marketing & Business Operations initiatives
  • Coordinate recurring and ad hoc meetings, including scheduling, agendas, materials, notes, and follow-up actions
  • Prepare and distribute presentations, briefing materials, and communications for leadership, board, and team meetings
  • Maintain project trackers, calendars, stakeholder lists, shared resources, and business documentation to support efficient execution
  • Proactively identify project risks and operational roadblocks, driving resolution with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support the planning and execution of team meetings, summits, events, matchdays, and other strategic initiatives
  • Help keep teams informed, organized, and aligned by ensuring timely communication, information sharing, and follow-through across key business priorities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, business operations, marketing, events, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional approach to stakeholder engagement
  • Strong project coordination skills, including managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and driving follow-through
  • Collaborative, relationship-oriented approach that builds trust and fosters effective cross-functional partnerships
  • Proactive and resourceful mindset that anticipates needs, identifies issues, and supports solutions
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Wrike, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar platforms) is a plus
