Description
Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a Junior Sales representative who will support and drive sales within the Agricultural sector, with a strong focus on identifying new clients, developing customer relationships and converting qualified leads into successful sales.
Responsibilities:
- Generating Leads – finding and reaching out to potential new customers through cold calling, emails, social media and networking
- Identify material handling operations and investigate potential application of Combilift Forklift Solutions
- Presenting and demonstrating Combilift products – show how Combilift machines could benefit the client and improve their operations, by explaining key features and benefits and matching the correct machine to the specific needs of the customer
- Prepare quotations, proposals and follow ups
- Assist with customer visits, demonstrations and industry events
- Meet agreed sales and business-development targets
Qualifications and experience:
- Matric
- 2-4 years’ experience in sales
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Knowledge or experience in agriculture, machinery or technical sales advantageous
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded, pro-active and target-driven
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills
