More about the role
Job Summary
As Integrated Communications Manager CEE North Markets You will drive and support the execution of communication strategies that enhance brand reputation, stakeholder engagement, and employee alignment across multiple channels and audiences. You will ensure consistency, clarity, and impact in both internal and external communications to effectively convey key messages.
This is a role for someone who likes working independently and across a wide brief: one day you're translating and localising a global press release, the next you're the contact for journalists and preparing the Country Lead for an interview, and the day after you're cascading an organisational change to local teams and writing for a channel that reaches production employees.
You work in both directions: bringing global strategy down to local ground, and pushing local stories back up to global. You're also the first call for crisis management.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Supports communication strategies that shape stakeholder perception, enhance brand reputation, and drive employee engagement by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Cascades corporate announcements, campaigns and messaging to local teams — reorganisations, new ways of working, company-wide programmes.
- Engages employees with global and local news through the intranet local news page, Viva Engage and the factory podcast.
- Develops messaging, content, and leadership communications materials tailored to diverse audiences and communication platforms.
- Supports HR announcements — collective labour agreement, collective days off — and local activities and events.
- Develops messaging frameworks and leadership communications materials tailored to different audiences and formats.
- Tracks effectiveness — media coverage, channel engagement, employee sentiment — and adjust the plan accordingly.
- Localises global corporate news: translate, publish and distribute global press releases for Corporate Communications and for the Professional and Consumer businesses — product news, sustainability updates, brand campaigns.
- Develops and delivers social media content and programs aligned with brand positioning and marketing objectives to increase digital presence and audience interaction. Own local corporate social media content and channel.
- Manages relationships with media, partners, and internal stakeholders to amplify brand visibility, maintain positive public relations, and ensure message consistency.
Critical Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in corporate communications, PR, or marketing communications.
- Experience supporting executive communications and cross-functional messaging initiatives.
- Strong writing and content development skills across formats and platforms.
- Familiarity with communication planning, media outreach, and internal engagement.
- Skilled in stakeholder coordination and project management.
- Understanding of brand positioning and reputation management.
- Full fluency in English — you'll adapt corporate copy daily.
- Strong hands-on writing across formats and channels.
- Experience acting as, or directly supporting, a media spokesperson; steady in issues and crisis situations.
- Experience reaching both office-based and production/shift-based audiences
- Comfortable as a sole contributor inside a matrix organisation.
- Nice to have: intranet/Viva Engage, podcast or video production, media training or crisis comms certification.
