You will manage access points, verify credentials, assist visitors and employees, monitor alarm and badge activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Operate access-control systems, issue and recover visitor badges and temporary credentials, and report access discrepancies or equipment concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
