In this role, you will play an important part in supporting filament production, planning, documentation, and daily operational excellence.
Job Description
As a Filament Production Technician, you will be responsible for executing filament production activities in accordance with defined processes, technical instructions, and quality standards. You will support production and material planning, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to a lean and efficient way of working across the department. The role also includes using a range of business and production-related systems to support reporting, documentation, planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out filament production activities in line with established processes, instructions, and quality requirements
- Support production planning and coordination to ensure efficient workflow and on-time execution
- Assist with material planning and help secure availability of materials for production needs
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation related to filament production
- Report production data, status updates, and relevant metrics in business systems such as Oracle, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and QMR
- Support document handling and product-related information management in systems such as Windchill
- Contribute to a LEAN way of working, with a focus on continuous improvement, quality, and efficiency
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions to solve problems, improve processes, and support operational goals
- Support other activities within the department as needed, including washing, packing, picking, testing, and assembly
Required Qualifications
- Experience in filament production or similar technical manufacturing processes
- Strong experience in independent assembly of small technical parts, with proven results
- Ability to work carefully, accurately, and consistently in a technical production environment
- Experience working effectively in team-based environments, collaborating with colleagues from different backgrounds and functions to achieve shared goals
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to support others, share responsibility, and contribute to problem-solving
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
It is considered an advantage if you also have experience with:
- Spot welding
- Pneumatics
- Microscope-based work
- Mechanical assembly or mechanics
- LEAN principles and continuous improvement methods
- Working in systems such as Oracle, Windchill, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and QMR
- Technical documentation and production reporting in digital business systems
