Job Description

As a Security Operations Center Officer Tech Headquarters Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to document security-related activity and assist visitors and employees. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and the perimeter of a financial services location.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
