About the role

We are looking for a motivated Serviceperson to join our safety-focused and high-performing Maintenance team at our Gove operation. You’ll support minor maintenance tasks and work closely with the team to ensure equipment reliability across site operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct daily equipment servicing including refuelling, lubrication, and fluid checks
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks to minimise downtime
• Safely operate a service truck
• Perform inspections and report equipment defects promptly
• Maintain accurate service records and complete shift handovers
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Adhere to site safety standards and statutory regulations at all times

What you’ll bring

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

• HR class driver’s licence desirable
• Prior experience in a similar role or passion to learn
• Ability to work in hot weather environments
• Interest in mechanics with basic understanding of mechanical systems
• Good time management and teamwork skills

Where you’ll be working

Our Gove Operations have been supplying the global aluminium industry with world-class bauxite for more than 40 years. Located in Australia’s Northern Territory, the operation produces approximately 12 million tonnes of bauxite annually.

With a workforce of 460 people, daily activities include mine operations, maintenance, asset management, shutdown planning and execution, export operations, cultural heritage management, and closure activities following the 2017 decision to close the site’s alumina refinery.
