Job Description Summary

Manage the purchasing process for a defined set of products. You will apply sourcing policies and act as the primary interface between suppliers and the organization regarding specifications and budgets. You are responsible for the quality of your own work. This role receives direct functional supervision and follows prescribed work instructions and system verification steps. Work is performed within a well-defined operational structure, following standard, step-by-step sequences to achieve required outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and track Purchase Orders (POs).
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure successful PO fulfillment.
• Handle issues and manage schedule changes.
• Maintain and update ERP system data.
• Develop conceptual knowledge of the procurement discipline.
• Collaborate with others to solve problems; serve as the interface between the client and GE Vernova.
• Exchange technical information, ask clarifying questions, and ensure clear understanding of requirements.
• Solve problems using established procedures, consulting with team leads or senior members for issues outside defined parameters.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: Basic professional experience in procurement or related fields.
• Business Acumen: Application of general business knowledge developed through education or previous work experience.
• Language: Advanced  English proficiency (required).
