Bumble and bumble is a fast-growing, luxury hair care brand located in NYC. It started as an NYC salon and evolved into a multi-million-dollar brand comprised of 2 salons, a product company that houses a strong in-house creative agency, a direct sales force, and a university for hairdressers and salon owners. To this day we are committed to cultivating creativity while remaining deeply and passionately dedicated to the craft, culture and commerce of hairdressing. Position Summary: The Assistant Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for tailoring national marketing campaigns to meet specific retailer needs, ensuring all campaigns are 360º and identifying opportunities to drive the brand. This role acts as the conduit between Account Management and Product & Consumer Engagement Marketing and drives the successful execution of in-store, online and omni-channel activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy & Development

  • Collaborate closely with Account Lead to foster strong retailer partnerships and plan the business calendar including co-op,

promotion, in-store visuals and eventing moments.

  • Interact with Account Lead to identify short and long term wins in each retailer and create retailer specific programs to drive sales

in respective accounts (ULTA, Sephora, ULTA at Target, Blue Mercury, Macys etc)

  • Analyze key traffic moments and retailer event periods to examine ROI and opportunities based on competition
  • Innovate the consumer experience across all omni-channel touchpoints with a strong focus on loyalty and identifying new,

targeted sampling opportunities

  • Develop mix of tactics that strengthens brand relevance against competition, meets sales goals and is consistent with brand and

retailer strategies in conjunction with Account Management and wider Marketing team

  • Partner with Account leads to create Seasonal Promotional Strategy and coordinate across the functions (E-Comm, Salons)
  • Own Trade Marketing budget and partner with Marketing, E-commerce and event manager on maintaining.

Execution

  • Develop opportunities of seasonal programs and strategies including calendarizing all marketing programs and promotional

vehicles to achieve retail needs and maximize sell-through.

  • Customize National GTM for retailer specific GTM decks by retailer. Support National GTM inputs for retailers and ad hoc retailer

deck needs

  • Provide significant input for retailer market week meetings and follow-up planning sessions to conceptualize and execute a full

360º marketing program tailored to the retailer needs. Generate retailer support, clear instruction to cross-functional teams to

execute along with superior execution in-store

  • Drive the NOAM sampling, and collateral forecast planning by building retailer needs from the bottom up – work with Account

Leads and eventing team on ultimate forecast for respective accounts.

  • Interact with Account Leads and Event manager to supplement brand calendar with retail specific events. Ideate and implement

these high-touch in-store moments (Salon takeover, GHE etc)

  • Support key field communication including Newsletters, updating Field RAW sheets and seasonal decks
  • Plan and manage coop budget with retailers in partnership with Director of E-comm
  • Own Sampling execution across retailer planning, shipping and identifying new opp. Plan and see through all sampling efforts

and effectiveness with tailored execution.

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of the retailer sampling box initiatives ensuring the timely shipping of samples anpost program redemption rate analysis. • Collaborate with merchandising on creating differentiated in-store experiences through effective merchandising and collateral opportunities. Drive Productivity Setup and Review • Support Trade Show (FLC, Brand Fairs) participation working closely with Account Lead, Field Sales and Education and marketing to plan, sell-in, execute and showcase our brands to the highest standard • Deep understanding of retailer consumer analytics to drive programming. Provide analysis of brand portfolio and mix of business for each retailer. Identify white space opportunity and suggest new programs to drive sales opportunity in conjunction with the Account Lead and Planner. • Interact with Consumer Engagement and E-Commerce team to develop execution tactics to deliver growth and gain share while ensuring our brands have a cohesive, omni-channel presence and all activity is aligned • Manage all Seasonal and Retailer exclusive needs • Manage retailer creative requests for MAGs, visual exposures • Retailer Seasonal setup forms • Input into ACL for Retailer specific requests

## Description

  • Work with Marketing Manager in the development of the strategic roadmap and product assortment for the brand within the market context of competitor's offerings, consumer insights and business impact. Support on marketing calendar planning according to global/ regional directions and local priorities.
  • Manage the development of NPL and campaign concept & USP, plan and execute 360 campaigns with consumer engagement team, work closely with cross functional leaders to ensure core concept are aligned in all consumer facing communications.
  • Collaborate with CRM team to segment the right customer base for activations and maximize the business potentials at all touchpoints.
  • Lead and facilitate the sales forecast process from prior to during launches on saleable and non⁃saleable management, ensure stable supply and maintain healthy inventory level to support brand sales.
  • Collaborate closely with online team to drive unity planning and achieve brand common goals, with synergy in achieving omni optimization in assortment, launch calendar and channel strategy.
  • Build strong partnership with retailers, develop and formulate trade marketing plans and liaise with retailers to secure opportunities and coordinate initiatives.
  • Lead for an effective promotion strategy, design the right tactical offerings with application in right channels and targeting the right audience, govern and manage KPIs to track performance in achieving samples and gift ROI, construct analysis, collect feedback from stakeholders and actively share insights for improvements and adjustments.
  • Maximize the execution of the promotional support, maintain a close relationship with field team to ensure promotion plans are smoothly launched, develop comprehensive programs and wrap up with performance analysis and key learning.
  • Lead instore visual merchandising, with global guideline as cadence and local adaptation to strengthen the story telling instore and bring customers a complete and retail excellent journey.
  • Work in close partnership with regional team, capturing qualitative and quantitative metrics at local market for future product pipeline, packaging improvement, assortment opportunity.
  • Coach and develop team members as well as provide guidance for driving consistent execution on projects.

## Qualifications

  • University Graduate in Marketing or business⁃related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in FMCG/ Retail/ Beauty industry
  • Demonstrated track record of brand business building, collaboration and leadership is required
  • Pleasant, pro⁃active and a passion for excellence
  • Strong co⁃ordination and interpersonal skills, creative and attention to details
  • Exceptional presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills
