Your Impact
At Lowe's, Inventory Replenishment & Planning (IRP) plays a critical role in ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time to serve our customers. As the business continues to evolve, we're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to help shape the people strategy that enables our organization to deliver results.
As the HR Business Partner supporting IRP, you will partner directly with senior leaders and their leadership teams to develop and execute people strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and business performance. This is a highly visible, corporate-facing role that requires sound judgment, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to build credibility quickly with senior leaders.
Success in this role requires someone who can simplify complex business challenges, provide thoughtful recommendations, and serve as a trusted advisor while balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day business needs.
What You Will Do
- Partner directly with senior leaders to develop and execute forward-looking people strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing thoughtful recommendations, challenging thinking when appropriate, and helping leaders navigate complex organizational decisions.
- Lead and influence organization design, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development efforts that position the organization for long-term success.
- Coach leaders on organizational effectiveness, team performance, talent development, and leadership capability.
- Translate workforce data, engagement insights, and business trends into clear recommendations that improve organizational performance.
- Lead change management efforts during organizational transformations, helping leaders and teams successfully adopt new ways of working.
- Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated talent, learning, compensation, and organizational solutions.
- Proactively identify organizational risks and opportunities and partner with leaders to develop practical, business-focused solutions.
- Build credibility and trusted relationships with senior leaders quickly.
- Bring thoughtful recommendations rather than simply identifying issues.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous situations and makes sound decisions with incomplete information.
- Simplify complex organizational challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
- Balance strategic thinking with practical execution in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
- Demonstrate executive presence through clear, concise communication and confident decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience supporting large, complex, or matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Experience leading organization design, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
- Strong business acumen with experience translating workforce insights into business recommendations.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex issues, prioritize key messages, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and partnering effectively across HR Centers of Excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
