Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Assessment in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving post combines customer service, communication, and rapid response to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, helping to protect personnel, visitors, facilities, and assets.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required firearm- and equipment-related inspections in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
