Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to riders, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, transit centers, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, assist with directing individuals to appropriate transit resources, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
