About the Role
The Manufacturing Executive supports daily semiconductor assembly manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets. This role works closely with production supervisors, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, maintain process stability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
Support daily assembly manufacturing operations across processes such as Molding, Plating, Trim & Form, and Singulation, Die Bond and Wire Bond.
Monitor production performance to ensure output, cycle time, yield, and delivery targets are achieved.
Analyze production issues, line abnormalities, and equipment downtime, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality requirements, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
Track and report key manufacturing metrics, including productivity, yield, utilization, and scrap performance.
Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to support operational goals.
Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support continuous improvement projects through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Assist in new product introductions (NPI), process qualifications, and manufacturing transfers when required.
Drive operational discipline and support workforce development through effective communication and knowledge sharing.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
2-4 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
Experience in semiconductor assembly operations is highly preferred.
Basic understanding of semiconductor assembly processes, manufacturing flow, SPC, yield management, and problem-solving methodologies.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, or continuous improvement tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret manufacturing data and drive improvements.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle operational challenges on the production floor.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor assembly processes such as Molding, Plating, Trim & Form, Singulation, or related backend manufacturing operations.
Exposure to MES, SAP, or manufacturing execution systems.
Knowledge of statistical analysis, quality tools (8D, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA), and process control methodologies.
