Job Summary
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets within the automotive emissions systems sector.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders at assigned accounts.
* Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers, including commercial negotiations, technical discussions, and issue resolution.
* Build and present compelling business cases and proposals to secure new business and expand existing accounts.
* Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, quality, logistics) to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
* Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., sales results and forecasts, customer initiatives).
* Prepare reports on account status and sales performance.
* Identify and grow opportunities within existing accounts, and proactively seek new sales opportunities.
* Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
* Attend industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as required.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales within the automotive industry, preferably with experience in emissions systems or powertrain components.
* Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
* Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
* Ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
