Job Description
The Data and change Lead will play a key role in supporting the delivery and ongoing management of reliable, scalable, and high-quality data solutions that meet business needs across the organization. This position will support business-critical data platforms, enterprise datasets, data products, and downstream interfaces. The role will also provide leadership for Data and change production support, independently manage Business-as-Usual (BAU) changes, and contributing to strategic initiatives. Success in this position will require strong capabilities in requirements analysis, testing, data quality, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and solid technical skills in SQL and database environments across a broad portfolio of data services. Solve complex system and system-related problems, providing timely and accurate documentation and communication.Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and business-aligned data solutions.
- Support and enhance enterprise data platforms, data sets, interfaces, reports, and self-service solutions used across the organization.
- Lead and support the investigation and resolution of production issues impacting data availability, accuracy, and downstream users.
- Independently manage BAU enhancements and smaller-scale change initiatives through analysis, testing, implementation, and production readiness.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications and mapping documentation.
- Strengthen data quality, validation processes, and operational controls across data platforms and interfaces.
- Support a broad range of business users and stakeholders across asset management functions and downstream consumer groups.
- Create and maintain documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge artifacts to support effective delivery and reduce key-person dependency.
- Support knowledge transfer and build capability to strengthen the long-term operating model for both BAU support and change delivery.
- Promote strong governance, risk awareness, and clear ownership across data sets, interfaces, and operational processes.

Engagement Touchpoints:
- Internal across the Data Group including Team Leaders, Product Owners, and Senior Leadership.
- Interactions globally with business teams (GOIS, Investment and Distribution), Technology and India production support team.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of the asset management operations, including familiarity with the range of asset types and products offered by asset management firms, along with demonstrated experience supporting fund accounting operations
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and SQL/database tools (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Oracle SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio, or similar technologies).
- Mandatory SQL proficiency - intermediate to advanced level
- Skilled in collecting and interpreting business requirements from stakeholders and product owners and translating them into clear data specifications for development.
- Experience supporting production environments to ensure service continuity and timely resolution of issue through effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including external partners where needed.
- Proven team handling track record, preferably managing change functions
- Ability to understand technology as it relates to business and may require product or system certifications.
- Experience in communicating technology related information clearly to different audiences and clearly detail implementation processes.
- Strong relationship within the department and across business functions.
- Strong leadership competencies and execution skills by way of cross-collaboration and workflow facilitation with multiple internal business partners.
- Must be highly responsive and proactive in a fast-paced changing environment.
In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
