Join Our Team as a Junior Engineering Specialist – Co-op (Quality) at Johnson Electric!

Location: Mississauga, ON (Onsite)
Pay Range: $22-$24 per hour
Vacancy Type: Existing Position
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Relocation: Not Available

As our next Junior Engineering Specialist – Co-op (Quality), you’ll be at the forefront of supporting quality and engineering initiatives that drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. Your expertise in manufacturing engineering principles, data analysis, and problem-solving will be instrumental in improving processes, enhancing product quality, and supporting new and existing product development.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment installations, and product development activities.

  • Prepare Statistical Process Control (SPC) reports and analyze production data using statistical software such as JMP.

  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve process capability, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.

  • Provide technical support for tooling, equipment, processes, and product-related issues.

  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to help resolve quality, operational, safety, and production concerns.

  • Assist in the development of standardized work instructions and process documentation.

  • Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, quality, and EHS requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a Manufacturing Engineering or related Engineering program.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented manufacturing environment.

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
